Congratulations to Stephen Gaffney who made a comeback from injury to win the 150m and 300m events at the at AIT Baseline Indoor T&F Meet in Athlone yesterday. On Saturday 12th December Mitchell Byrne continued his good form on the Colegiate indoor circuit by running 14.37 in winning the 5,000m. Details are on the American International College website. We had a very busy racing calendar for all our Club athletes this weekend. On Friday 4th Dec. we had Caitriona Jennings and Barry Minnock in the 1st IAU (International Association of Ultra Runners) 50k World Championships in Doha, Quatar. Well done to our two Intermediate Cross Country teams who won medals in today's Dublin Intermediate Cross Country Championships in Tymon Park. This event was organised by the Club on a very blustery day in Tymon Park. In the Ladies race over 5k our ladies team took the silver medal behind Donore. Well done to all from the Club who ran in last Sunday's Inter Club Cross Country Championships in Santry Park.
