Well done to our two Intermediate Cross Country teams who won medals in today's Dublin Intermediate Cross Country Championships in Tymon Park. This event was organised by the Club on a very blustery day in Tymon Park. In the Ladies race over 5k our ladies team took the silver medal behind Donore. First home in 5th place was Louise Gaffney in 21.31. Next came Valerie Cole 6th in 21.33, Lynne Hennessy 7th in 21.34 and Ellen Murphy 11th in 22.33 to make up the team. Roisin Long was 14th in 22.51 and Suzanne Ryan 27th in 24.32. Over a blustery 8k course the mens team won the bronze team medal behind Crusaders AC and Clonliffe Harriers. First home for the men was David Power 12th in 29.53, followed by Aaron Browne 17th in 30.41, Peter Toomey 23rd in 31.19, Neil Skelton 35th in 32.12 and Ger Stephenson 59th in 36.35.
