The 2020 Leinster Indoor track and field Championships were held in the Athlone Institute of Technology on 24th February. Mitchel Byrne had a great run to win the1500m gold medal in 4:06:98. On a windy Sunday 2nd February at the Trim 10 mile road race Rathfarnham WSAF AC’s Brian Furey on an 11th hour entry ran a very respectable 57:05 to come 22nd in a large field. Edwin Keville was 2nd M50 in 61:25. Great runs by both of you. FULL RESULTS HERE...

With over 4000 entrants and ideal conditions the 2020 Raheny 5 mile road race on Sunday 26th was going to be a day of PB’s. Fantastic running today saw Mitchel Byrne clocking a new PB of 14:32 which is also a new club record! Paul Fleming ran 15:56 to win the M40 race and a man who is finally starting to develop his potential, Shane Grehan, ran a massive 17:37 PB! The Rathfarnham team finished third. Well done to all.
