Leinster Masters Cross Country Champions 2020
It was a high achieving day for Rathfarnahm WSAF AC at the 2020 Leinster Masters Cross Country Championships in Gowran, Co. Kilkenny on Sunday January 12th. Eoin Flynn won the Gold medal and Louis McCarthy the Silver. The team of Eoin, Louis, David Power and Paul Fleming won Gold and to top it off Eoin, Louis and Dave were joined by Karol Cronin of neighbouring Sportsworld to make up the Dublin team that took the county Gold medal. The question being asked post-race is what exactly was the ergogenic benefit of the unconventional pint sized carbo-loading by the team at the clubs Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on the Friday before!
