Great Ireland Run / AAI National 10km Championships: In the Phoenix Park, Rathfarnham AC was very well represented in all races, with green singlets appearing all over the course. Paul Fleming & Ronan Kearns represented Ireland at the European Indoors Masters Championships in Ancona, Italy over the weekend. Ronan won silver on the Irish team in the cross country race. A busy weekend of racing with the Schools Cross Country taking place in Sligo. Rathfarnham athletes headed west & south in search of PBs. Armagh 5km This race has a reputation as one of the fastest road races on these islands, with over 60 runners covering 5km in under 15 minutes. One of those was Seán Hehir in 14:35, followed by Louis McCarthy in 15:28, Paul Stephenson in 15:47 and Brian Furey 16:25. The race winner was Charlie Hulson in 14:02. Full results here.
