A busy weekend of racing with the Schools Cross Country taking place in Sligo. Rathfarnham athletes headed west & south in search of PBs.
The senior men's team cleaned up at the Rock and Road Kinvara half marathon and 10km races in Galway. Rathfarnham athletes won both races - Louis McCarthy in the 10km (33:26) and Paul Stephenson in the half marathon (1:13:57). Strong results all round: in the 10km Jason Reid was 3rd and in the half Brian Furey was 3rd, with Paul Moran 4th. Full results here.
In Cork, at the iconic Ballycotton 10 mile race finishers included Derval Devaney in 2nd place (62:10, Kevin Keane, Archie O'Donnell, Micheal Murphy, Edward O'Mahony, Liam Lynch, Bernadette Crowley, Michael Devine and Sarah O'Regan. Full results here
