This race has a reputation as one of the fastest road races on these islands, with over 60 runners covering 5km in under 15 minutes. One of those was Seán Hehir in 14:35, followed by Louis McCarthy in 15:28, Paul Stephenson in 15:47 and Brian Furey 16:25. The race winner was Charlie Hulson in 14:02. Full results here.
UCD/TCD Colours Cross-Country
Jonathan O'Donoghue finished 2nd overall to help the UCD Athletics Club to victory in the annual Colours cross-country race in the Phoenix Park today against Trinity College.
