Following on from running 2:38 in the Frankfurt Marathon David Power headed off a week later to the New York marathon as the second leg of his mad fund raising week in aid of the wonderful CMRC Crumlin charity. It was Rathfarnham WSAF AC/ Termoneeny running club’s Tommy Hughes day at the Frankfurt Marathon on Sunday November 8th. He ran a spectacular 2:27:52 to set a new world record for a 59 year old.
