It was Rathfarnham WSAF AC/ Termoneeny running club’s Tommy Hughes day at the Frankfurt Marathon on Sunday November 8th. He ran a spectacular 2:27:52 to set a new world record for a 59 year old. On top of that, himself and his son Eoin set a new world record for of 4:59:22 for a combined father and son marathon time.  The global press has covered this but follow the attachment below for the Runners World report.
