A busy weekend of racing with the Schools Cross Country taking place in Sligo. Rathfarnham athletes headed west & south in search of PBs. Well done to Ronan Kearns who represented the club in the 800m event in Day 1 of the GloHealth National Senior Indoors in Athlone on Saturday. Ronan finished 6th in his heat in a time of 2.03.18. Full results are on the AAI website....

Armagh 5km This race has a reputation as one of the fastest road races on these islands, with over 60 runners covering 5km in under 15 minutes. There were several races around the country this weekend, with results as follows: Jonathan O'Donoghue was 15th in the 3,000m, while Stephen Gaffney was 2nd in the 400m in 48.53 at the AAI Games in Athlone. The in form Mitchell Byrne has set his third Rathfarnham WSAF Club indoor record since December.
