There were three Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes in this year's Michael Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10km Road Race 2022 on Saturday June 18th Ciaran Aylward ran an excellent 34:35, Dermot Sheils a huge PB of 39:18 and Denis Daly 30:20. The Women's Mini Marathon was back in action on the June Bank Holiday weekend after going virtual for two years of Covid. David Scanlon won the Leinster Senior 1500m gold medal for Rathfarnham WSAF AC on May 28th with Louise Gaffney winning the women’s 1500m bronze medal. Well done to all Rathfarnham WSAC Athletes who ran at the 4th Graded meeting in Santry Stadium on Wednesday 08th June. The Club was led out by David Scanlon who struck gold in the men's 1,500m in 3.58.20. Shane O'Neill ran 4.19.20 in the B 1,500m. A large contingent of Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes were due to run the Bohermeen 5k on Friday June 3rd. Heavy traffic after an accident on the M50 prevented everybody except Sue Ryan from getting there. Sue is rapidly coming back into form and ran 21:05.Well done! FULL RESULTS HERE...
