Well done to the two Rathfarnham athletes who competed in this years IUAA Indoor Championships. Over the past 4 weeks, 30 runners have been training hard every Tuesday evening with the Rathfarnham Fit4Life group. The group ranges from complete beginners to athletes running 5km in just over 20 minutes. Well done to Sean Hehir who was third in the John Treacy Dungarvan 10 Mile race yesterday in 49.09. This was a PB for Sean and 39 seconds quicker than his time last year which earned him second place, and 16 seconds faster than his winning time in 2012. Dunboyne AC hosted the Leinster Junior & Senior Cross Country Championships today, on a cold, bright & dry day.
