Congratulations to Stephen Gaffney who took home two medals at the GloHealth National Indoor U23 Championships on January 25th. Early in the day Stephen qualified for the 60m final finishing second (7:13) in heat one. In the 60m final, Stephen finished second in a time of 7:02, narrowly missing out on the gold medal by 0.06 of a second. Stephen secured his second medal of the day in the Long Jump finishing third with a jump of 6.39 metres. According to the "IAAF Scoring Tables of Athletics" a time of 7:02 for the 60m is equivalent to a 14:33 5k.
