Congratulations to all our athletes who represented their club and county In the national juvenile uneven age cross country Championships in Navan on Sunday 2nd December. The athletes from U.11 to U.19 all excelled over a hilly but dry course. First up were the U11 girls led home by Lainey Sheridan who came home in a brilliant third place overall in a field of 193 athletes, followed by a flying Siobhan Murray with Abbey Corrigan close behind. Next came Lucy Dollard, Holly Harlow and Ellen Doran. Next up we had Fionan O'Keefe running a very strong race in the U13 boys race, finishing 3rd of the Dublin team of six. The U15 girls followed with Keely Sheridan running her usual great race to place 6th on the Dublin Bronze medal winning team. Last but definitely not least running her last race as a juvenile athlete, Edel Mc Creery brought home three U19 national medals this year. Running a powerful controlled race Edel came through the field to finish a brilliant 5th place and lead the Dublin team to county and provincial Silver medals. All the results from Sunday's National uneven ages championships are now up on the myrun results website at https://www.myrunresults.com/events/123ie_national_uneven_champs_2023/4914/results. Well done to all.
