On Sunday, the Uneven Juvenile XC Dublin Championships took place in Tymon Park. The host club was Rathfarnham AC. There was a strong Juvenile entry in each different age group.
Those who represented the club included:
Under 9 Girls: Kike Needham.
Under 11 Girls: Clodagh Cullen, Sophie Richie, Lorna Sheehan, Fiona O'Regan.
Under 13 Girls: Isabella Doyle.
Under 9 Boys: Bill Needham.
Under 13 Boys: Jack Burke.
The club are very proud of the terrific performances by each of our Juveniles on Sunday. Well done everyone! Special mention to Sophie Richie, who won a medal in the 1500m Under 11 Girls Race. Well done Sophie!
Jonathan O'Donoghoe finished 3rd in the U19 boys. He was followed home by Paul Tierney, Oisin Joyce, Wren Fernandes, Andrew Burke and Donal Murphy who all won silver medals as the U19 team took
second place in the race and qualify for the Nationals in two weeks time. Tom McGrath finishred 14t h in a very competitive boys U17 race. He was followed home by Daniel Martin, Richard Keogh, Ashur Fernandes and Ruairi O'Neill.

Very well done to Ella Pasley, Lucy Richie and Abbey Kelly for fantastic running in the Dublin Juvenile Cross Country Championships (even ages races) on Sunday, and especially to Lucy who won a bronze medal in the 1000 metres under 10 race. Also, very well done to Ellie Stapleton who had a great race in the under 12 girls 2000 metres. We are very proud of the four girls, they have all trained so hard throughout the year. Well done! Report from Dublin Athletics Juvenile Cross Country League 4. Sunday 20th October 2013, Phoenix Park
On Sunday, the final Juvenile CC League took place in the Phoenix Park. The event took place in perfect conditions. Rathfarnham AC had a good turnout from the Juvenile ranks. Our young athletes turned out very good performances in their different age groups. All that dedicated training is paying off Girls and Boys!

On Sunday, the latest instalment of the Juvenile CC League took place in St. Anne's Park. The event took place in perfect conditions, with summer-like weather! Those who represented Rathfarnham AC included:

Under 11 Girls: Clodagh Cullen, Alannah Fasenfeld, Sophie Richie.
Under 13 Boys: Conor Mc Aree.
There where excellent performances from our young athletes. Well done everyone! Thanks also to the parents who got them there. Next up for the Juveniles is League 4 CC which will take place in The Phoenix Park on Sunday 20th October @ 11am.
Juvenile girls Under10 and Under 11 who represented Rathfarnham AC
On Friday the Dublin Juvenile Track Championships took place in Santry. Those who represented the club included:
Under 10 Girls: 500m - Elena Cullen and Lucy Ritchie. Under 11 Girls: 600m - Sophie Ritchie and Clodagh Cullen. Under 13 Girls: 600m - Amy Mc Cabe. Under 13 Boys: 600m - Conor Mc Ree and Conor Edwards were 4th in their heats. Both boys qualified for the Finals which will take place in Tallaght on June 9th.
