Congratulations to Michael Tracey on his fabulous second place in the 3000 metres at the Leinster under 16 track and field championships at Santry on Saturday 16th May. Michael ran a tactical and gutsy race to finish in a time of 9.36. His coach, Philip Halpin, was delighted. Michael's potential is enormous.
Mention also of Ian Rankin who was 6th in the 1500 metres in a time of 4.40, on limited training.
