Good conditions were the order of the day for our young athletes at the latest round of the XC League. Tymon Park was the venue of the well run event, which featured a daunting hill section for the older juveniles! Rathfarnham was well represented and some excellent performances were recorded.

First off were the Under 9s. In the Girls race, Zoe Ritchie bettered her excellent 2nd place in Skerries, by winning the first race of the meeting and getting the day off to a great start! In the Boys there were fine runs from Fionn Kelly and making his debut, Matthew Smyth. In a packed Under 11s race, Lucie Ritchie led the Rathfarnham contingent home. There were strong performances from Abbey Kelly, Elena Cullen, Sophie Fasenfeld and also making their XC debut for the club, twins Jessica and Ava Dalton.

In the Under 12 girls came our next representatives. First home was Sophie Ritchie, followed by Alannah Fasenfeld and Clodagh Cullen - good performances by our trio in a strong field. In the Under 14 Boys race ran over 1500m, Conor McAree was our sole athlete, who battled to finish well in 15th position.

It was another positive day for our ever growing squad of XC Juveniles! Well done everyone! Full results will appear on Dublin Athletics Board website . Next up is the Juvenile Coss Country League 3, Sunday 5th October 2014, Phoenix Park @11am.
