Rathfarnham senior men's team claimed silver medals in the National Half Marathon Championships in Dublin today. Mark Ryan 1:12:14 (1st M35), Paul Moran 1:15:36 (2nd M50) and Kevin Donagher 1:19:35 finished in 3:47:25 behind Clonliffe Harriers A.C. As part of the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon Series build up, the Fingal 10km took place over the weekend in Swords. Donna Mahon put in a strong performance of 39:42 to claim 2nd in her age group and 8th female overall. Also competing were Barra O'Duill (who broke 40 mins), Terry Clark (3rd in his age group), Gavin Hall and Arlene Molloy....

Brian Furey once again represented Ireland at mountain running, by competing in the 16km ascent & descent of Snowdon in Wales. Brian came home in 35th place, time 1:18 and was 4th Irishman home. Rathfarnham’s Sean Hehir finished best of the Irish at today’s Virgin London Marathon.
