European Mountain Running Championships

 

Mark Ryan represented Ireland at the 15th European Mountain Running Championships in Arco, Italy on Saturday. Mark was joint 2nd Irishman home in 43rd position over the 12.3km course with 750m of climbing. Full information on http://www.arco2016.com/en.

 

Clonee 10km

Three athletes represented Rathfarnham at the Clonee 10k last Thursday. There were windy conditions for the race held on the roads around Clonee. Shane O'Neill was 3rd overall in a time of 33.01, John Farrelly, in his first race since April came 36th in a time of 37.48 and Denis Daly had a great run by taking 1 minute off his previous best to finish 37th and second M45 in a time of 37.58.

Eoin Flynn won an uphill only race in Gran Canaria today, 7 seconds outside the course record.
