Sean Hehir is maintaining his fine cross country form of late by easily winning the Noel Mc Guill 4 mile cross country race organised by Dunleer Athletic Club today. Sean's time was 18.46 and was 24 seconds ahead of Martin Quinn, Dunleer AC and Aarun Hanlon, Dunleer AC was 3rd. The full results are on the Dunleer AC website. Ronan Kearns was our first Club Member home in Saturday's BHAA 6k run on a very windy Dollymount Strand in 4th position. Next came Johnathan Hughes, Gearoid O'Connor, Brendan Hogan Finbarr Waterson, Daniel Keogh, Brian ?? and PJ Claffey. Full results are not to hand yet but will be posted on the BHAA website later. David Scanlon finished a fine 7th in the Boys U19 race on a very tough course in Marley Park and qualified for the National Championships in December. He was followed home by Ian Rankin (17th), Stephen Gaffney (20th), Sean Hayes (24th) and James Vickery (26th). Both Oisin McGrath and Andrew Wall ran strongly in the Boys U17 race. Brian Furey came first in last Saturday's IMRA sponspored Powerscourt Ridge race. Next from the Club came Turlough Conway 3rd, Richard Cattle 30th, Mike Long 32nd, Zoe Melling 41st and 2nd lady, Derek Bain 43rd. Vanessa Sallier 83rd (8th lady) and Archie O'Donnell (87th). Gerard Claffey and Jack McLoughlin both ran a one mile leg on the Trinity B team in yesterdays Intervarsity National Road Relays in NUI Maynooth to bring their team home in 16th position.
