At todays Bohermeen Half Marathon in Bohermeen Co. Meath Turlough Conway was the first home for the Club in 4th place in a time of 74.28. We celebrate our second and third wins of the day when Louis McCarthy winning the Kinvara 10k road race yesterday in a time of 33.55, Jason Reid was second in 34.39. Vanessa Sallier won the Ladies 10k race and was 21st overall to make it a very successful day for the Club. Sonya O'Connell continues to hold her good form by easily winning the ladies 2.5 mile BHAA cross country race at Maynooth College yesterday. Sonya was running for Trinity College and won in 15.32. Sean Hehir clocked up yet another win on the roads this year, when winning the Adare 10k yesterday in a time of 30.39. Sean just missed out on Seamus Power's course record of 30.34. In the senior mens race over a dry 12k course, at today's Inter Clubs CC in Santry, Louis McCarthy had a great run to finish 23rd in 37.37. Louis had his trademark run by starting off steady and improved with every lap. He picked up over 10 places in the last few laps.
