In the senior mens race over a dry 12k course, at today's Inter Clubs CC in Santry, Louis McCarthy had a great run to finish 23rd in 37.37. Louis had his trademark run by starting off steady and improved with every lap. He picked up over 10 places in the last few laps. Johnathan Hughes also ran very well and finished in 61st in 40.02 and left many established runners in his wake.
