Yesterday's BHAA Eircom Cross Country races were run over a muddy Cherryfield course, with the ladies running 2 miles and the men 5 miles. The Club highlight of the day was Maura Kearns 2nd lady home in a time of 12.56. The highlights of today's Dublin Masters Cross Country Championships in St. Anne's Park Raheny were the Mens M50+ team of Sean Doyle, John McCabe, Joe Casey and Tommie Bishop winning the Gold Medal and the Men's 35+ team of Shane O'Neill, Turlough Conway, Clyde Dunne and Greg Byrne winning the silver medal. Sean Hehir got 2013 off to flying start today when he won the Tom Walsh Memorial 10K in Caherconlish Co. Limerick in a time of 30.37. In doing so he knocked over a minute off the course record. At todays BHAA South Dublin County Council Cross Country races Clare Sullivan was 9th in the the ladies 2 mile course in 12.46.
