Pride of the day at the Leinster Indoors yesterday was David Scanlon's front running tactics to easily win the Senior 3k. Well done to all Club athletes who ran in the Irish Universities IUAA Indoor Championships on the new Indoor track in Athlone on Friday last. Stephen Gaffney competing for UCD came 3rd in the Triple Jump with a leap of 12.65m. This is Stephen's first IUAA medal, which is a special achievement for the Club. At yesterday's John Treacy Dungarvan 10 mile Road Race David Power was 26th in 57.10 and Greg Byrne was 39th in 58.17. Grainne Connor ran 67.06, Ellen Murphy 68.00 and Helen French 72.09. Full results on the Total Timing website. Well done to all....

At today's AAI Indoor Games on the new Athlone IT Indoor track. Gerard Claffey and Stephen Gaffney were our first Club members to compete on the new track. Stephen started off with a first run over 60m and finished 4th in 7.55. Gerard ran a PB of 2.01.8 in the 800m Heat 4. Stephen then finished 3rd in the long jump with a jump of 7.55m. The full re...

Congratulations to Maria Dolan who was first F40 in the Raheny 5 race this afternoon in a PB of 29.51.  Louis McCarthy was first home from the club, finishing in 18th position in a time of 26.19.
