Pride of the day at the Leinster Indoors yesterday was David Scanlon's front running tactics to easily win the Senior 3k. David still only a Junior led from the 2k mark and was never caught.  Stuart Mc Clane had a good run in the Masters 400m to easily win the M40 race, while Terry Clarke won the M55 Category in the 400m. Gerard Claffey and Ronan Kearns ran well in the 800m Senior race, with Gerard just keeping ahead of Ronan. In the Masters 800m Owen McLoughin, in his first race in 11 months, ran well in the M45 Category. John McHugh and Terry Clarke ran a solid race to come 2nd and 3rd in the M55 Category. Paul Fleming won the M35 in the 1,500m Masters Race, Pearse Coyle was 3rd O.45 and John McHugh was 1st in M55 category. PJ Claffey won the M55 in the Masters 3k.
