At the IMRA Irish Mountain Trials yesterday in Crone Woods, Wicklow Barry Minnock was first home over a 9,480m course in 41.02. Mark Ryan was 2nd. in 41.22. Today marks one of the most successful ones for the Club, with winning four National Track Senior Medals in the T&F Championships in Santry Stadium. In the 10,000m final Sean Hehir was tracked by Barry Minnock for 22 of the 25 laps and went on to finish third and win the bronze medal in 30.16. We had two Club runners in todays Streets of Galway 8k. Sean Doyle was 46th out of almost 2,000 finishers. His time was 29.09 and he was 2nd. O.45. Philip Wright was 96th in 31.23 and 2nd. O. 55. Full results at Streets of Galway website. Well done to Sean and Philip....

At today's Bay 10k in Dun Laoghaire Colm Murray was the first home for the Club in 16th place in 37.33, which was won by Paul O'Connell from Sportsworld. Also in the race was Terry McConnon (22nd in 38.58) and Terry Clarke (33rd, 40.01). The full results are posted on the DLRBay10K website. Well done to all....

At last nights final Graded T&F Meeting in Santry we had 5 club runners in action. Louis McCarthy and Gerard Claffey ran in the 800m B race. Louis ran 2.04, while Gerard ran 2.06. In the 3000m Sean Hehir ran 8.22, Barry Minnock 8.33 and Johnathan Hughes ran 9.19. Full results are posted on the Dublin Athletic Board website....Page 127 of 185
