Mark Ryan and Brian Furey represented Ireland at the World Mountain Running Championships for Masters in Susa, Italy this weekend. The two Rathfarnham athletes claimed team gold to become world champions O35 for Ireland. Mark was 6th and Brian 12th, with Ian Conroy winning the overall race, to beat the Italians on home soil by 1 point. It's a super achievement for the lads and great for Rathfarnham to have two athletes competing at international level. Full results, photos & report to follow on WMRA.
