At the Meath Spring Half Marathon in Bohermeen, Paul Moran finished 10th in 1:14:24, winning M50. In the 10km, Denis Daly finished 16th in 39:35, with Michael Devine 51st. Turlough Conway won the Debra Ireland Wicklow Mountains Challenge Half Marathon in Glendalough in a time of 1:29:18.

The Irish Universities Athletics Association National Cross-Country took place in Clongowes Wood over the weekend, with a number of Rathfarnham athletes competing. David Scanlon finished 14th on the winning DCU team, along with Alan Danagher (70th, DCU) and Ger Claffey (99th, TCD).

In the womens race, Roisin Long (UCD) finished in 28th place.

Next up in the University athletics calender is the Track and Field Championships on April 10/11th. 

Finally, Brian Furey was 6th in the 22km GaelForce Mountain Run in Killary Fjord.
