Fantastic weather with almost perfect conditions for the National Cross Country Championship in Tymon on Sunday last. A well deserved Silver National medal for our Masters Ladies. A superb performance saw Donna Mahon bring the team home to finish in fourth position overall and second over 35 and also one of the top scorers on the Dublin team. Another great run by Aoife O Connor who strode home to finish second on the team. Closely followed by Brid Griffin who finished strong in third position. Another good run by Vanessa Sallier who was the fourth scorer on this great team. Helen Ingram put in a fine performance finishing third in the over 50 category. Helen Leonard was next home followed closely by Zoe Melling. The intermediate Ladies also went well but were unlucky in the medals, the team was led home by Ciara Hassett who finished strong followed closely by Grainne McAdams, Louise Cassidy and Elaine Tohill also ran well.Well done to all the ladies who each put in fine performances on their teams.
