At the Dublin Athletics Board Graded Meeting in Tallaght on Wednesday our athletes ran well on a windy cold evening. In the 800m Richard Keogh ran 2.04, Lee Byrne from WSAF AC ran 2.06, Gerard Claffey 2.12 and Cillian Doherty from WSAF AC 2.14. Well done to all 23 Rathfarnham athletes who ran in the Tallaght 5km Road Race yesterday. First home for the club was Paul Fleming 9th in 16.15 (1st O.40). At last night's Samsung 10k along the streets of central Dublin in the dark, Paul Stephenson was the first Clubman home in 4th place in 32.20. At last Sunday's MSB St. Patrick's Day 5k around the streets of Dublin our men's team took second place, just behind Crusaders AC. Yesterday's Marlay Parkrun was a featured race for the Club and Rathfarnham athletes filled the first 3 places in the 5k. At today's Jingle Bells 5k Run in the Phoenix Park, Sean Hehir was our first member home in 7th place in a time of 14.58.
