Well done to all 23 Rathfarnham athletes who ran in the Tallaght 5km Road Race yesterday. First home for the club was Paul Fleming 9th in 16.15 (1st O.40). Next came Ronan Kearns 12th in 16.35 (1st O.35), followed by Aaron Browne 21st in 17.06, Donagh Powell 22nd in 17.09, Mark Cannon 23rd in 17.12, and Peter Toomey 28th in 17.28.

First home for the ladies was Maria Dolan 18.47 (1st O.45), followed by Clare Sullivan 19.17, Valerie Cole 19.37, Lorraine Nolan 19.40, Lynne Hennessy 20.16, Aisling O'Connor 20.54, Vanessa Sallier 21.11, Helen Ingram 21.37, Miriam McCormack 21.39, Aisling Tohill 22.18 and Kerrianne Waldon 28.27.

Other men who ran well were Tom Cuddy 19.15, John Hogan 19.20, Eric Cullen 19.22, Neil Skelton 19.31, David Danagher 19.33 and Daniel Keogh 19.54. Both our mens and ladies teams won the silver medal in the Dublin Novice Championships, The official results will be posted shortly on the Dublin Athletics Board website.

Also on Sunday at the Great Limerick Run race series Sean Hehir won the 6 mile race in 30.28 and Joanne Hayes ran 53.22. Denis Daly ran 91.02 and Derval Devaney ran 92.32 in the half marathon. The full results are on the Great Limerick run website.
