At last nights final Graded T&F Meeting in Santry we had 5 club runners in action. Louis McCarthy and Gerard Claffey ran in the 800m B race. Louis ran 2.04, while Gerard ran 2.06. In the 3000m Sean Hehir ran 8.22, Barry Minnock 8.33 and Johnathan Hughes ran 9.19. Full results are posted on the Dublin Athletic Board website....

On Friday 22nd July Helen Leonard won the ladies race at the Donoughmore Co. Cork 7 mile Road Race in a time of 46.53. She was 37th overall. Barry Minnock continued his good form this morning, on his comeback trail, by easily winning the Park West 10K Run in a time of 31.00. Sergiu Ciobanu from Clonliffe Harriers was second. The race started in Park West Industrial Estate off Killeen Road, Ballyfermot, took a route out and back along the Grand Canal and finished at the Plaza, Park West....

Sean Hehir continues his excellent form by clocking his eight win of the year by winning the St. James's 6.5k Fun Run around the Liberties last night. Sean clocked a course record time of 18.48 and beat David Flynn from Clonliffe by over a minute. Darragh Halpenny also ran in the race.
