Turlough Conway continues his good form when coming 3rd in the Tubbercurry 10k in a time of 33.34. Emmet Dunleavy from Sligo AC won the race in 32.15.Full results on MayoAC website....

At yesterdays 5k Run in Carlow John Hogan was 11th in 19.09, while Lorraine Nolan was 18th and 4th lady home in 20.52. In the 10k run Eilish Connery was 18th and 3rd lady home in a time of 39.24. Well done to Catherine Devitt for coming 10th and 2nd lady home in the Wicklow Mountains Half Marathon yesterday. Catherine's time was a very credible 1.46 over a mountainous course. Also in the run was Derek Bain 17th in 1.48 and Archie O'Donnell 25th in 1.53. Results on Debra Ireland website. Well done to all....

The highlight of yesterdays BHAA Cross Country at ALSAA, Dublin Airport was Sonya O'Connell clocking up her second BHAA win in 2 weeks. Sonya took the lead from the start to win in a time of 12.34 on a dry flat 2.5 mile course but into a head win twice on the 2 lap course. At todays Ballycotton 10 mile road race Paul Stephenson ran the race of his life when coming 33rd in 55.30.
