Clare Sullivan led the club's efforts at the Leinster Novice Cross Country in Tyrellspass, Co. Westmeath, on 29th October. Clare finished 6th overall. In the men's race, Aaron Browne was 57th, Ciaran Aylward 70th, Neil Skelton 88th. Full results on Leinster Athletics website....

Congratulations to Mitchell Byrne who won the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Cross Country yesterday, leading his American International College team home to first place in a field of 242 runners. Well done to Paul Stephenson who was third in the Charleville International Half Marathon in North County Cork this morning. Brian Furey once again represented Ireland in the mountains, this time at the 32nd World Mountain Running Championships in Sapareva Banya, Bulgaria.   More great news arriving back from Susa in Italy at the World Masters Mountain Running Championships. Donna Mahon grabbed silver to secure the F40 Irish team the 2nd step on the podium.
