At today's Tom Brennan 5k Road Race in the Phoenix Park Louis McCarthy was 5th in 15.48, Robert Murphy 11th in 16.23, Pearse Coyle 31st in 17.29, Sean Doyle ran 18.37, Maria Dolan 18.38, Diarmuid Coogan 20.33 and Laura Murphy 21.55. Wet and windy conditions prevailed in Clonmel on the 26th December for Paul Stephenson 5th in the 4 mile; 21.12 and Alan Danagher 10th; 21.55. This was a PB for Alan by 55 Secs. over the distance. David Danagher ran 28.18. Full results at the Running in Ireland website. Well done to all....

Well done to all who took part in races yesterday after the Christmas celebrations. Eoin Flynn, back for Christmas from Gran Canaria, won the Bull Island 5 mile run on Dollymount Strand in a time of 26.25. At last Sunday's Clonliffe Harriers sponsored ERP Christmas Cracker 5k Road Race Pearse Coyle was first home for the Club in 17.45 in 41st position. In the European Cross Country Championships today Sean Hehir had another great run to finish in 52nd place, over a 9.88k snow covered cross country course.
