At yesterdays Raheny Shamrocks AC sponsored 5k through St. Anne's Park Turlough Conway had a great run to finish 4th in 15.56. Next came Kevin Donagher, 11th in 16.15 and David Danagher 58th in 18.35. Vanessa Sallier was 7th Lady home in 19.33 and came 1st O.40. At last nights Dublin Board Graded Meeting on a wet Santry Track we had our greatest team of athletes ever, seventeen, out competing. Congratulations to Stephen Gaffney who jumped a PB of 6.83m in the Woodies DIY AAI Open Games yesterday, to come 3rd in the senior men’s event. Full results are available on the AAI website. On Friday last 31st May Sean Hehir was the winner of the Sixmilebridge 10k in 31.10. This was Sean's first race back after injury and it augers well for the rest of the year. Well done to all Club athletes who ran in the Leinster Senior, Masters and Under 23 Championships today all who brought home medals. At Under 23 Level we had Gerard Claffey in the 1,500m bronze in 4.33 and Stephen Gaffney silver in the 100m in 11.56.
