Well done to Barry Minnock who today won the Irish 50k Championships in a time of 3.05.04. John Byrne of Mayo AC was 2nd in 3.07.40. The run was organised by Dunadea Running Club over a road and trail. A fuller report is on the Mayo AC website. At Saturday's Garda BHAA 4 mile Cross Country over a very muddy Phoenix Park course Clyde Dunne was our first Clubman home in 8th position (23.36). Last Sunday Sean Hehir came 3rd in the Enniscorty 10k Road Race in a time of 30.27. Edwin Keville was 26th in 35.56 and Helen Ingram was 130th and 2nd O.50 in 43.31. Full results on Slaney Olympic AC website. Well done to all....

At yesterday's National Intermediate Cross Country Championships in Derry over a very muddy 8k course, our first Club member home was Paul Stephenson in 11th place.
