On Day 1 Saturday 16th Feb. of the National Senior Indoor Championships on the Athlone IT Arena, Ronan Kearns ran 2.04 in the first heat of the 800m, while Gerard Claffey ran 2.06 in the fourth heat. On Day 2, Sunday 17th Mitchell Byrne of WSAF AC finished 8th in the 3,000m in a time of 8.46, while Paul Fleming was 14th in 8.55.
