Zoie Richie in the 800m at the IMC Meeting
Well done to all our athletics who ran and jumped at the Graded Meeting on the UCD track on 05 May 2024. The events they competed in were at 100m (Stephen Gaffney), 800m (Laura Ryan 2.31, Clare Shiels 2.48, Orla Murray 2.52), 3,000m (Aisling O'Connor 11.37 - 2nd in the Dublin Championships, Daire Sullivan 9.10, Paul Fleming, Aiden O'Connor 9.51, Richard Pollitt 10.11 and Dermot Shiels 10.21), Shot (Isabella Mullarney 9.54m - 2nd in Dublin Championships), High Jump (Orla Murray 1.15m, Vanessa Sallier 1.05m) and Long Jump (Orla Murray 3.33m, Vanessa Sallier 2.94m). At the Irish Milers Club meeting in Morton Stadium on Saturday 04 May, Zoie Richie ran 2.09 in the 800m, In the 1,500m Mitchell Byrne ran 3.51 and Ryan O'Neill 4.01. On the roads Kevin Donagher was 4th in the Limerick Half Marathon in 72.54 on Saturday 04th May, Laura McDonnell was the second woman home in the Drogheda 10k in 37.54 on Sunday 05 May. Orla Murray and Vanessa Sallier finished third W50 team in the Leinster 3k road race in Gowran on Saturday 04 May 2024. Well done to all.
