Twenty four members ran in the National 10k Road Championships which was run in conjunction with the Dunboyne 10k on Suday 24th March 2024. Our senior men's team, which was made up by Mitchell Byrne (6th in 30.26), David Scanlon (11th in 30.41), Louis McCarthy (27th in 32.06) and Kevin Donagher (30th in 32.16) took the National senior team title. Our M35+ team was made up by Alexy Marchenko 32.38, Gael Hernandez 34.52 and Ciarnan Aylward, 35.01 were 9th out of 44 teams. Our M50+ team was made up by Dermot Shiels 37.36, Colm Murray 37.47 and Denis Daly 39.36 were 7th out of 17 teams. Our F35 team (Laura Ryan 39.01, Clare Shiels 43.36 and Donna Mahon 44.00) were 10th out of 32 teams. Other good runs were had by Jonathan Hughes 35.11, Marc Fitzachary, 35.11, Greg Byrne 35.44, David Reidy 37.32, Sean McCarron 40.35, Michael Murphy 41.49 Michael Stuart 42.16, Ester Lawlor 44.56, Terry Clarke 47.08, Kieran Ziv 52.02 and Jackie Kingston 53.44.
