Well done to our athletes who ran in the Dublin Cross Country Championships in very muddy conditions in Santry on Sunday 05 November 2023. In the senior mens race over 9,000m David Scanlon came second, to bring the Club home in the silver team medal position. David was followed by Mitchell Byrne (5th), Paul Stephenson (6th), Louis McCarthy (21st), David Power (27th), Paul Fleming (30th), Patrick Marjolet (34th), Ciaran Aylward (37th), Jonathan Hughes (39th) and Sean McCreery (43rd). In the Under 19 Girls race Edel McCreery came first and she came second in the Junior (Under 20) race. Jared Murray was 16th in the Junior Mens Race and Ryan O'Neill 17th (and 9th in the Under 19 race). Aisling O'Connor ran in the Womens senior race over 9,000m and came 15th. Well done to all.
