Ryan O'Neill, Paul Fleming and Jason Murray after finishing the 1,500m on tallaght track
At the Dublin Graded Meeting on Tallaght track on Wednesday 19th July 2023 we had some great performances by our athletes. In the womens 1,500m A/B race Louise Gaffney won the race in a time of 4.48 in a great sprint to the finish. Not to be outdone Jared Murray won the men's A 1,500m in a time of 4.05 with a fast drive to the line on the last lap. Aisling O'Connor also ran the 1,500m in 5.05. In the W35 1,500m Louise Cassidy ran 5.56 and Orla Murray ran 6.00 in her first track race. In the men's 1,500m Ryan O'Neill ran 4.13, Paul Fleming 4.28 and Pearse Coyle 4.58. In the M50 1,500m Barry Mulvhill ran 5.28 and Gerry O'Reilly 6.49. The full results are on the Dublin Athletics website at https://www.dublinathletics.com/live-results.
At the Morton Games last Friday 14th July Edel McCreery ran 4.54 in the Junior mile and Mitchell Byrne ran 14.18 in the 5,000m. At the AAI Games on 15th July Paul Stephenson ran in the 10,000m to finish 5th in 31.52. Well done to all who ran.
