We had some excellent performances by all our Juveniles, with over 40 members running across all the age categories. Pride of place must go to Edel McCreery who won the Girls Under 18 and Ciara Murphy who won out in the Under 17 Girls. Alice Hickey was 5th in the Under 18 Girls. Jodie Richie was 3rd and Sarah Murphy was 10th in the Under 16 Girls. Zoe Richie was 6th in the Under 17 Girls.
In the Under 19 Boys Jared Murray was 4th and Daire Sullivan 5th. At Under 17 Boys Ryan O’Neill was 3rd and Charlie Morris McGill was 4th. At Under 15 Aiden O’Connor was 3rd. Soran Doyle was 4th in the Under 14 Boys. Oisin O’Connor was 19th. Other great Boys performances were at Under 13 - Ronan O’Keefe 12th and at Under 12 Euan O’Neill was 28th. Sean Hanily ran Under 10 and Cormac Newman ran Under 9.
Other good performances were in the Under 14 Girls with Keely Sheridan 4th, Cora Shields 22nd, Alecia Maughan 29th and Mia Whearity 44th. At Under 13 we had Lucy O’Neill, Aibhe Magill and Sara O’Reilly. At Under 12 Girls Winnie Comerford, Elsa Healy, Aoibheann Murray, Lily Lonergan and Maeve McCauley ran well. At Under 11 Girls we had Rosie Shields, Laoise Meaney, Selena Cullen, Alice Griffin, Ryan O’Neill and Aoife Lawlor. At Under 10 Girls we had Lainey Sheridan, Abby Corrigan, Fia O’Connor, Aisling Boland and Ruth McCauley, while at Under 9 we had Rose Healy and Evelyn -Rose O’Keefe.
Well done to all who ran, and we look forward to seeing you at the Indoor track leagues in 2023. Also well done to all the Juvenile coaches and the parents who helped make these performances happen.
