In the Autumn Open International Cross Country races in Abbotstown on Sunday 16th October Mitchell Byrne was our ownly competitor in the Senior Mens Race over 8k. Mitchel finished 11th in 23.15. In the ladies 6k race Carla Sweeney was 14th in 21.44. In the Masters Womens Race Laura McDonnell finished third in 21.53. The full results are on the Myrunresults website.
The masters races serve as a trial for the British and Irish Masters’ International, which will take place in Santry on Saturday, November 12. Laura McDonnell has been selected today (21st October) on the Irish F35 team and Shane O'Neill has been selected on the M50 team. Details will be posted shortly on the IMAA website shortly.
