It required an enormous effort for the organisers of this year’s National Track & Field Championships to carry off the event under the current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. It was great that the two weekend’s action took place despite no spectators being allowed. Windy conditions the first weekend meant that times were irrelevant so it was down to pure racing and we got some treats. Well done to all the Rathfarnham WSAF AC athletes who participated. There were some great individual performances.
