Well done to Derek Bain who ran a wet and stormy Connemara Half Marathon in a time of 1:38:34 to come a very respectable 5th in the M50 category. Unfortunately he relinquishes the title he has held for the last two years. Not bad considering the training focus is elsewhere and the pressure of the media hype around the three in a row!
