At the Irish Universities Track and Field Championships at Waterford IT on Friday and Saturday three club members competed. Matthew Horrigan, running for DCU, was a clear second in the 10,000m in a time of 32.48, having run solo for most of the race. David Scanlon, also running for DCU, was 7th in the same race in 34.17 in his first 10k on the track. Lawrence Boran ran 4.25 in his heat of the 1,500m, running for Tallaght IT.
