Sean Hehir won the Mick Murphy 4 mile road race in Ferns, Co Wexford, this evening in a course record of 19.25. Sean is back to his best form and broke the record by 13 seconds on a hilly course and in windy conditions, which augers well for his Dublin Marathon debut. Paul Fleming was 5th in 20.51, Mitchell Byrne (WSAF) 6th and 1st Junior in 21.07, Johnathan Hughes 13th in 21.36 and Ronan Kearns 17th in 21.55. The lads won the team title.
