On Friday night 24th August Maura Kearns won the ladies race in the Tara 5k Road race up the Hill of Tara in a time of 19.16. Maura was 27th overall. Noel Crowther was 50th in 20.29. Full results on Precision Timing website.
Also on Friday Barry Minnock won the Warriors 15k Run at Strandhill, Sligo in 55.39 and Turlough Conway was 4th in 60.26 and first local home. On Saturday 25th August in the National Lottery Frank Duffy 10 mile Road Race in the Phoenix Park Brian Furey was 15th in 55.09, Willie Morris 88th in 61.49, Terry Clarke ran 65.51 (4th O.55), and Archie O'Donnell ran 67.46. Full Results on Dublin Marathon 2012 website.
Last night at the Tinyrland 4 mile road race Sean Hehir was 3rd in 19.16, Paul Fleming 8th in 20.54, Jason Reid 9th in 20.56, Ciaran Aylward 20th in 21.47, Ronan Kearns 27th in 22.32 and Greg Byrne 30th in 22.43 to win the senior team title for the second year in a row.
