At the Great Limerick Run series last Sunday 6th May, in the 6 mile run Ciara Hassett ran 39.19 to come home 45th overall and 7th lady. Jackie Sullivan ran 49.52 in her first race for a long time. Full results on Great Limerick Run website.
On Wednesday 9th May at the Clonliffe 2 mile race from Finglas to Glasnevin, Eoin Flynn was 5th in 9.33. Paul Fleming was 7th in 9.43 and was 1st O.35. Michael Devine was 49th in 11.44. Full results at Clonliffe Harriers website.
Also on Wednesday 9th May at the IMRA Scalp run Greg Byrne was 5th. Mike Long was 22nd and 1st O.50. Eilis Connery was 63rd and 4th lady. Paul Kelders was 80th. Shane McEntee also ran. Full results on IMRA website.
At todays Sportsworld AC organised Terenure 5 mile Road Race over a new course around Terenure, Paul Fleming had a great run to easily win the race in a time of 26.04. Paul along with Ronan Kearns (6th in 27.08), Johnathan Hughes (7th in 27.08) and Gerry Doyle (8th in 27.10) won the team prize. Also running well were Peter Toomey (28th in 29.07), Greg Byrne (29th in 29.09), John Farrelly (36th in 29.46), Maria Dolan (31.30, 1st. O.40), Michael Devine (31.54), Tony Connelly (34.03), Laura Flynn (34.35), Ann French (36.40) and Raedi Higgins (38.14). Full results are on Terenure 5 Mile website. Well done to all who ran.
